CalliopeArchitect
Architect your series. The AI drafts, you decide.
A writing studio for authors planning whole universes — series bibles, book outlines, chapters, continuity. The AI does the volume; every word it produces waits in staging until you approve it.
An AI can draft a chapter in a minute. Deciding it belongs in your book — that is authorship, and it stays yours.
The author's workflow, end to end
Six stages, in the order a series actually gets written. At every one of them the AI proposes and you dispose.

Start at the top
Universe & series planning
Build interconnected story universes: series bibles, world rules, lore, and multi-book arcs. The shape of a thousand-year saga, laid out before the first chapter is drafted.

Shape each book
Book structure
AI-generated outlines with act structure and chapter-by-chapter, scene-by-scene breakdowns — grounded in your universe's rules and the arcs you planned.
- Act structure with chapter breakdowns
- Character arcs tracked across books

Draft the prose
Chapter writing
AI-assisted drafts written from your outline and your universe's assembled context — not from a blank prompt. The voice comes from your templates; the continuity comes from your data.

The gate
Staging & approval
Every AI output lands in a staging area first: review it, validate it, approve it or reject it. Nothing — not an outline, not a profile, not a paragraph — enters the manuscript on its own.
- Review and validate before import
- Approve or reject, item by item

Keep it true
Continuity tracking
Character states, resources, and timelines tracked across chapters and books. When book four contradicts book one, you find out from the tool, not from a reader.

Your voice, reusable
Prompt & variable system
Database-driven prompt templates with a two-tier variable system — global and per-prompt. Tune how the AI writes once; reuse it across a whole series.
Built like a tool, not a toy
Schema-validated output
Every AI response passes a JSON Schema gate before you even see it. Malformed content never reaches staging, let alone your book.
Multi-model
Claude and GPT, chosen per task. The workflow is the product; the model is a setting.
Series-scale memory
Context assembly across an entire universe — the AI drafting chapter 40 knows what happened in chapter 3 of book one.
Version control
All content is versioned. Approve boldly; nothing is ever unrecoverable.
MCP integration
Direct integration with Claude via the Model Context Protocol — your universe is available where you already work.
Your data, exportable
Manuscripts, bibles, and profiles export as files you own. A studio you can leave is a studio you can trust.
We built a universe with it.
The Aethelene saga — a thousand years of future history across five eras, with dozens of series planned — is written, structured, and kept consistent with CalliopeArchitect. It is not a demo. It is the product's own proof, and you can read it.

Does the AI write the book?
It drafts; it does not decide. Every outline, profile, and chapter the AI produces lands in a staging area where you review, validate, and approve or reject it. The manuscript only ever contains what you let in. If you want a button that writes a novel unattended, this is the wrong tool — deliberately.
Which AI models does it use?
Claude and GPT, selectable per task. The prompts, schemas, and your variables live in the studio's own database, so switching models doesn't mean rebuilding your voice.
What genres does it suit?
It shines where continuity is hardest: science fiction, fantasy, and thrillers with multi-book arcs, large casts, and strict world rules. Anything long-form benefits; a standalone novella needs less of what makes it special.
When can I use it?
It's in early access. CalliopeArchitect runs today as the in-house studio writing the Aethelene books, and is being generalized into a hosted product. No launch date promised until it's real — that's the house style.
What will it cost?
Honestly: not decided yet. Pricing gets announced when the hosted product does. Nothing on this page is a paywall tease — there is simply no price to tell you yet.
Your series deserves an architect.
When the studio opens for early access, this is where the door will be.
